What a nice Italian name for a bass made long ago in Germany! I am particularly fond of this instrument, because it was my “project bass” that D. Scott Henrie demonstrated his magic in order to teach me the finer points of bass repair and luthiery. It is fully carved, has a swelled back and violin corners, and a custom-made tailpiece. Everyone who plays it remarks on how powerful the sound is!
